For me, my internal unmanageablity also went away. Waking up in the morning wondering who I had slept with, who I had stolen money from, who I owed money to...and the list went on and on. That horrible anxiety that lived like a boulder in the pit is my stomach is gone. It has been replaced by a peaceful calm...a feeling of serenity and joy. After 40 years of drinking and drugging, I wouldn't have it any other way. 💕
